Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Brian was last known to be at his apartment in the vicinity of the 1300 block of SW Campus Drive in Federal Way, Washington sometime after 5:00 p.m. All his personal belongings were left behind. Barton was a member of the punk rock band As Fate Would Have It at the time of his disappearance; they had just been offered a record contract in California. Days after Barton vanished, a 1976 Ford pickup truck belonging to one of the other band members was found completely destroyed in a local junkyard, but there were no clues to Barton's disappearance in the vehicle. His case remains unsolved. |
