Circumstances of Disappearance:

Carol was last seen at approximately 12:00 am by a family member while at her residence in the 17600 block of Cranbrook Avenue in Torrance, California. On April 6, 1981 her vehicle, described as a red 1979 Audi Fox, was found abandoned at the Red Onion Restaurant parking lot in Redondo Beach, California. Carol's belongings were left at the residence and she did not pick up her last two paychecks. Her husband, then known as Michael Clark Lubhan and now known as Michael Clark (photos above right) told authorities that he and Carol argued and that Carol left on her own. He did not report her appearance for several days. Clark divorced Lubahn in 1984, three years after she disappeared. In April 2011, Clark was arrested and charged with Lubahn's murder. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance due to the circumstances involved.
