Identifying Characteristics:
She was wearing oval-shaped thick eyeglasses whos lenses transitioned darker in sunlight. She has pierced ears. She may have had the remnants of a "US Steel" scar on one of her forearms from backing into a hot radiator. It is possible that only the letter "U" was still visible.
Clothing/Jewelry:
She was last seen wearing Levi bell-bottom jeans with blue and white dotted material sewn in to widen the pants bottoms, and a white tank top with a pattern of upside down multi-colored teardrop shapes.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Dorothy was last seen walking towards the restrooms at Cortez Park at 35th Avenue and Dunlap in Phoenix around 6:30 pm on September 20, 1973. She has never been heard from again. She may have traveled to Portland, Oregon or Houston, Texas. Her whereabouts are unknown and her case remains unsolved.
