Circumstances of Disappearance:
Solomon MetalwalaJulia BiryukovaSky was last seen in Bellevue, Washington on November 6, 2011. His mother, Julia Biryukova (photo near right), told authorities that she was driving him and his four-year-old sister to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in her brother's silver 1998 Acura when it ran out of gas in the 2600 block of 112th Avenue NE. Biryukova left Sky strapped in a car seat in the unlocked car, took his sister and walked to a gas station a mile away for help. When she arrived, she didn't buy gas, but instead called a friend who dropped her off at the car about an hour after she'd left it. When they arrived at the car, Sky was gone. He has not been seen since. An extensive search for Sky was not successful. His father, Solomon Metalwala (photo far right) has been active in the search for Sky, whereas Ms. Biryukova has not been. The couple were separated and in the process of divorcing. Ms. Biryukova is from Russia and Mr. Metalwala is from Pakistan. It is possible that Sky was missing some time before his mother reported it as he was not seen by anyone but Biryukova in the two weeks before he vanished. His whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
