Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Burroughs was preparing to move to Florida, where his son lives. On or around August 14, 2007, his wife, Loretta, said he ran away with another woman to Florida. Burroughs’ family, friends and co-workers don't believe this. Burroughs left everything behind, including his watch and cell phone. Within two to three days after he disappeared, his wife sold his truck, speedboat, airplanes and tools, everything he was going to take with him. Loretta previously served time in prison on embezzlement charges. Burroughs remains missing and his case remains unsolved. |
