Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. David is an experienced hiker employed by the Sedona Forest Service. He was last seen at the Beaver Creek Ranger Station in Sedona, Arizona on May 19, 1997, leaving for a two-and-a-half day hiking trip in the Red Rock/Secret Mountain Wilderness Area. He never returned and has not been seen again. He is believed to have become lost or injured during his hike. His case remains unsolved.
