Unknown. Smith was last seen in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on December 6, 2007. Her husband told authorities that she had gone Christmas shopping at 1:30 p.m. that day. The morning after she disappeared, Murfreesboro police found er Lincoln sports utility vehicle in a Wal-Mart parking lot on Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro. Smith was not inside the vehicle and there was no sign of her at the scene. A surveillance camera took footage of a man getting out of the driver's seat of the vehicle at 2:30 p.m. on the day that Smith disappeared, remove a bright green girl or woman's bike from the back, and ride away. Her case remains unsolved, and foul play is suspected. |
