Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Mike, a freshman at UCLA, lived on the sixth floor of Dykstra Hall dormitory on campus. He had been playing an online computer game with a friend until about 4:00 a.m. Mike's roommate awoke at 9:00 a.m. and discovered Mike was gone. Due to these circumstances, it is believed that he went missing between 4:00 am and 9:00 am on Dec. 10, 1999. All of his personal belongings were left in his room.
Search dogs tracked Mike's scent to Sunset Boulevard and Bellagio Street in Los Angeles; no other evidence was ever located. It was reported that an unidentified white man (sketch at right) had been seen inside Dykstra Hall at
4:35 a.m. on December 10th. The man has never been located for questioning; it is unknown if he is connected to Mike's disappearance.
Foul play is suspected, and his case remains unsolved. |
