Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Peter was last seen leaving home near The Alameda walking towards Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, California. He had told his brother that he was taking the bus to Cody's Bookstore, near Salon and Telegraph Avenue. When later asked, the bookstore employees could not confirm that Peter had ever been there. The bus driver said that he remembered Peter, stating he had asked directions to Montclair and last saw Peter when he left to get on a transfer bus. Family can think of no reason that Peter would travel to Montclair, having no business or social contacts there. Other than the bus driver's statement, there has been nothing to confirm this. Peter did not have any ID with him and left behind cash in a container on his desk at home. His social security number has not been used since his disappearance. His case remains unsolved. |
