Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. He was employed as a software engineer in Scotts Valley, California and had married his wife in February 1999 in an arranged ceremony in India. The couple returned to San Jose two weeks after their wedding. He was last seen at work on September 14, 1999, and has never been heard from again. His vehicle was located at the North Vista point of the Golden Gate Bridge on September 17, three days after he disappeared. His wallet and credit cards were on the front seat. His wife returned to India in February 2000 to rejoin her family in her husband's absence. She received reports of numerous unconfirmed sightings of Shailesh prior to her departure from the United States. His case remains unsolved. |
