Unknown. Thomas was last seen in San Diego, California on October 29, 2002. He left his home at 7:00 a.m. and never returned. He has not been heard from since. His vehicle, a white Jeep Cherokee, was located abandoned in La Jolla, California on May 15, 2003. Residents said it had been there for some time. Nickel worked as an attorney and it was uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning. Thomas had a number of debts and his brother thought this might have been the reason he disappeared. Few details are available in his case, and it remains unsolved. |
