Identifying Characteristics:
Surgical scar on right ankle, tattoo of an anchor on earlobe, tattoo of a star on other earlobe, tattoo of a Military ID on right calf, tattoo of a mermaid on chest, tattoo of the "smile now, cry later masks" on back, unknown tattoos on forearm and right bicep, full dentures, previously fractured right ankle, recently fractured right hip that has pins in it. He wears glasses, but did not have them with him.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Dark blue sweat suit, dark colored slippers and possibly a white T-shirt.  Alzheimer's Alert silver bracelet worn on left wrist.
Medical:
Troy suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Troy was last seen between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the vicinity of the 27700 block of Center Drive in Mission Viejo, California. He went missing from his care facility after he opened what was supposed to be a locked door sometime during the night of June 5 and wandered off. He was discovered missing about 6:30 a.m. Administrators of the facility, the Paragon Gardens Memory Care unit in Mission Viejo, initially told police Troy had been gone only one hour, they later learned he may have left as early as midnight. His case remains unsolved.
