Identifying Characteristics:
Quarter size surgical scar on sides of right knee, a scar on right shin, and acne scars on his face and back. He has thinning hair and normally wears a moustache. One of his front teeth is chipped.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Blue jeans and a patriotic shirt or a red and white striped polo shirt, and possibly a watch with a silver stretch band.
Medical:
Smith has a heart condition and is prone to strokes and seizures.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Walter was last seen in his rural mobile home community on Delchar Drive in Edinburgh, Indiana. He has never been heard from again. He left all his personal belongings behind. His vehicle, described as a black 2000 Daewoo Laganza with temporary license plates numbered J045763, was located abandoned approximately two months later on the north side of Franklin, Indiana. Smith was in the process of opening a business in Edinburgh at the time he disappeared. His case remains unsolved.
