Identifying Characteristics:

She has a fair complexion, very light eyebrows, freckles, pierced ears, and moles on her lower back. She speaks fluent Russian and English.


Red and white t-shirt, navy blue shorts with white stripes on the side, beige sneakers and gold earrings with purple stones.


Ann is a Russian immigrant who came to the States in 1980. She disappeared from the Bashford Manor Mall while riding her red and white bicycle back to her home between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on June 1, 1983. Her bike (photo below) was found at the shopping mall, but she has never been heard from again. In December 2008, Authorities announced they believed Gregory Lewis Oakley, Jr. (photo below) was responsible for Gotlib's abduction and murder. Police believe he followed Ann to the parking lot at Bashford Manor Mall and abducted her, leaving only her bicycle behind. Ann's whereabouts remain unknown and her case remains unsolved.
