Circumstances:
Kimberly's husband, Michael Medina, told authorities that his wife left home to walk to a convenience store located at the corner of Buckley Road and Mississippi Avenue near their home in Aurora, Colorado at approximately 10:30 p.m. on October 29, 1996. He did not report her missing until October 31, 1996. On November 15, 2013, Medina was convicted of first-degree murder in Kimberly's disappearance. Her body has yet to be recovered.
