Circumstances:

Joiner walked away from a family member's residence in Vacaville, California between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on March 8, 2000. She never returned and has not been heard from again. Search dogs traced her scent to the Beacon gas station on Leisure Town Road, near the Highway 80 on-ramp. Joiner had only lived in Vacaville for a few days prior to her disappearance and was not familiar with the area.
