Identifying Characteristics:

Her hair is graying. She has a scar on top of her right hand, previously fractured collarbone, previously fractured foot, appendectomy scar, a vaccination scar on left arm, and pierced ears.  She wears glasses with bronze colored wire frames.


Light colored T-shirt, dark colored shorts.  Gold Mother's ring with two topaz stones, gold ring with square cluster of diamonds.


Janie was last seen at approximately 6:00 p.m. at a gas station in the vicinity of the 100 block of Veterans Drive North in Huntingdon, Tennessee. Her vehicle, described as a white with burgundy vinyl top, four-door, 1983 Lincoln Town Car was later located on October 13, 2004 near the intersection of Grooms Road and Bobbitt Road in Carroll County, Tennessee. She has never been seen again, and her case remains unsolved.
