Circumstances:
Spira was last seen at approximately 7:00 p.m. at his office at Universal Cable Construction on Country Farm Road in West Chicago, Illinois. Spira played guitar with the Rabble Rousers, a blues band, at the time of his disappearance; the band was well known in the area and played frequently. He is a United States Army veteran and is a licensed pilot.
