A dark blue T-shirt, camouflage pants, and an Army green jacket. He was carrying an Army green backpack.

Circumstances:

Spring was dropped off at the intersection of Whitewater and Interstate 10 in Riverside, California on October 10, 1988 to hike on the northside of Mount San Jacinto.  He has not been seen since. Randy was trained for survival when he was in the United States Army. He worked for the California Department of Forestry at the time of his disappearance and was also a volunteer firefighter with the Bostonia, California Fire Department.
